Young Adults 18-25: Life presents an abundance of choices, opportunities, and information. Young adults can often feel anxious and overwhelmed with the many decisions that need to be made at this stage of life. I have a passion for this age group and enjoy helping them navigate this important and exciting time.
Adults: Sometimes we find ourselves unable to do the “adult’ things that we need and have to do. The symptoms that show up can be panic attacks, lack of motivation, low energy, irritability, insomnia, and many others. We may also experience conflict with those we’re close to, such as a spouse, child, friend, or coworker. When someone decides to seek help through counseling, I provide a place for them to find answers and direction in those difficult times.
Couples: Marriage is such an intimate relationship that is always in the process of growth–either towards each other or away from each other. I want to help those couples who find themselves growing apart but want to change and improve their connection. I also help couples who are struggling to parent well during difficult times in their marriage.

I believe that everyone will experience pain and struggle in their lives, and sometimes those experiences can become too overwhelming and stressful to work through alone. Counseling can provide a safe, quiet, unbiased place where another person can bear witness to those struggles. I not only serve as a witness to my clients’ pain, but also use my expertise to help them understand their struggles and how to move through them. Together, my clients and I decide how they will move towards their goals. I also believe that each client is unique, and that each of them is the expert on their own life.
Jenny Arntson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, where she earned her Masters in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1999. She has continued to work the last eighteen years offering guidance and direction to her clients working in private practice, mental health centers, and school and church settings.

Some of her favorite work is using the Enneagram to help understand a person’s strengths and personality. She also has a keen fondness for artists and the creative community as they try to navigate life as the reflectors of beauty and truth in the world. She also loves to hear people’s stories and is always excited to meet the next person who walks in her office to learn who they are and what they have been created to fulfill in the world.
