       Meet Amy!

Dr. Amy Mayes is a Licensed Master Social Worker [LMSW, #54923] under clinical supervision of Dr. Cassidy Baker, LCSW-S #36848

Dr. Mayes earned her Doctorate in Social Work [DSW] from the University of Southern California, her Master’s [MSW] from The University of Denver and her Bachelor’s from Colorado State University. When not working at Spero, she is a professor at a local university.

Amy’s experience encompasses teens, students, parents & families and she has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings. She joins Spero to continue work encompassing identity, parenting, adoption, life transition, grief, anxiety, and depression. She believes in working with her clients in a holistic and self-determined manner and has a passion for working with athletes, caregivers and issues around diversity, equity and inclusion.
